Curved Stairlifts
We can supply and fit new or reconditioned curved stairlifts in a matter of days. Your curved stairlift will be custom-made to fit your home exactly, no matter how unique or quirky your staircase.
The average price of curved stairlifts will depend on a variety of factors, such as making the stairlift fit seamlessly with your home's bends, corners and curves, and determining which stairlift model would be most suitable for the available space. However we will always provide the best value for your purchase.
It's important to understand that new curved stairlift prices will naturally be higher than with a more standard straight stairlift. Essentially straight stairlifts are generally less expensive and easier to install compared to curved stairlifts, which require custom manufacturing and incur higher costs.
The custom manufacturing of a curved rail is a significant factor in the overall cost, as these components must be tailored to the unique contours of your staircase. This is why you may find such a big difference between straight and curved staircase stairlift prices, but rest assured that whether you purchase a new or reconditioned curved stair lift, with Prestige Stairlifts you're always buying quality.
Curved Stairlift Options
All our curved stairlifts come in a range of makes and models including Flow, Otolift and Platinum Stairlifts. Our friendly, expert team will arrange a site survey to assess your options and advise accordingly. This stairlift site survey is completely free of charge and you will be under no obligation. We're stairlift engineers and not salespeople so our only interest is getting the right curved stairlift for your needs installed safely and efficiently, at your convenience. So if you have a curved staircase and need a curved stair lift, we have the right solution for you.
Curved staircases present unique technical challenges that require specialised design and advanced engineering to ensure safety and smooth operation. This is why we need to conduct a thorough onsite survey to determine the precise requirements of the necessary curved stairlift rail for your staircase. In some cases we can even install a curved stairlift to a spiral staircase and we have special stairlift options available for particularly narrow staircases. See our new curved stairlift prices page to learn more about supply and installation costs.
Installation and Fitting of Your Curved Stairlift
It can often be possible to supply and fit your stairlift within 7 - 10 days of the consultation/technical drawing. The stairlift installation is quick, clean and simple with no unsightly alterations to your home. This is because the stairlift and its curved rail are contoured exactly to your stairs and fitted to the stair treads, not to the wall. The fitting process is swift and efficient due to the professionalism of our highly experienced engineers. Features like the drop nose allow the rail to maintain close alignment to the staircase while accommodating any obstacles.
For those seeking affordability, reconditioned curved stairlifts offer a cost-effective solution without compromising on quality and safety. You'll still get a clean and functional stairlift system installed to fit your stairs and it will even come with a 12 month warranty.
Our stair lift options include a variety of stairlift models to cater to different needs and home layouts. So whether you need a curved or straight stairlift, we've got the tailored solutions to fit your specific requirements.
Compact Chairs and Smooth Operation
On all models of stairlifts, the arms, footrest and seat can be folded neatly out of the way when not in use. This is to allow others to use the stairs normally and is particularly useful for narrow spaces. Our stairlifts are easily operated by pressing a button or using a joystick hand control. A remote control system is also located at the top and bottom of your stairlift so you can command the position of your stairlift from your hallway or landing.
Power Backup
Our stairlifts come with DC batteries that continue to operate the stairlift for up to three days in case of a power cut, giving peace of mind you won't be stuck on the lift seat if the lights go out.
