- Thinnest Single Rail in the World: The Otolift Modul-Air features a unique and discrete single tube rail system with the thinnest single rail currently available, measuring just 60mm (2.4 inches) in diameter. This ultra-compact design allows the rail to run incredibly close to the edge of the stairs, maximising space for the stairlift and ensuring ample room for other stair users to pass safely.
- Reverse Drive Technology: A standout feature of the Otolift Modul-Air is its Reverse Drive Technology. This ingenious innovation allows the chair to travel partly or entirely backwards, preventing your knees from hitting the wall or handrail – particularly useful on very narrow staircases or in tight spaces. It can fit between sections as narrow as 640mm (25 inches) in width.
